This Knowledgebase Article will show you how to retrieve/change the following types of passwords:

  1. Client Area Portal Password: Where you manage your billing, products and services
  2. cPanel Password: Where you manage your hosting package; email, databases, files etc...
  3. SFTP Password: A secure way to login to your website dir of files. (same as cPanel Login)
  4. Email Password(s): Manage all emails under an account
  5. WordPress Admin Password: Easily reset your WordPress Login

Client Area Password Reset:

  • If you have lost your Client Area password go here - Request Password Reset
  • The system will send you an email with a link to choose a new password and login to the client area.
  • Once logged in, click on the Accounts tab, and go to Change Password.

cPanel/SFTP Password Reset:

  • Login to the Client Area (see above)
  • In the Blue Navigation Area Go to Services Tab >> My Services
  • Click on the package you need access to.
  • Click on View/Change Password in the sidbar to retrieve/change the cPanel/SFTP Password there.

(NOTE: These changes do not affect WordPress or other CMS passwords, we HIGHLY recommend you change these passwords next time you log into your CMS admin area.)


Email Password Reset:

  • Login to the Client Area (see above)
  • In the Blue Navigation Area Go to Services>> My Services
  • Click on the appropriate hosting package.
  • Select the Email Accounts Icon under Shortcuts
  • Select the email you wish to modify

WordPress Password Reset
To retrieve a WordPress password you can follow these steps:

  • Visit your WordPress sign-in page (the page from which you administrate your WordPress website). i.e. your domain name mydomainname.com/wp-admin/
  • Click the "Lost your password?" link.
  • Enter your WordPress user name and/or email address you entered when setup your user.
  • Click "Retrieve Password".
  • A new password will be sent to the e-mail you specified when registering.
